Directions:

9 clicks from Ruby Fort south/east/south/east, thru Ruby Traders Camp then 8 clicks east/north/east.

To access the first level, use the northernmost

and southernmost arrows in the map above. The

downward-pointing arrow at the end of the road

entering the mine from the west will access the

bottom (or 2nd) level. The 2nd level can also be

accessed from the first using the downward-

pointing arrow in the SW sector (see map below).

Confusing, but then it's meant to be!

The first (lower) level of the mine; there is one more

The Giant Centipede (33) is an aggro, so if you are below its level, watch out, as I found that quite often there is more than one in a square. There are four levels in this location, and not all arrows will lead to all four levels (see above). The Ruby Miners may drop Dark Barbarians Belts and Flails, the Ruby Jeweller drops a Blue Heart Chain (min lvl 60) and Officers Surcoat (min lvl 60), the Lost Miner may drop Light Warriors Gauntlets and Viking Boots (both, min lvl 75), the Ruby Mine Guard a Lords Surcoat or Ruby Lords Ring (both, min lvl 120), the Ruby Mine Owner has the Avatars Chain and Light Armor Gauntlets (both, min lvl 140). The Centipede may drop a scale, used in some alchemy recipes, and the Ruby Worm has the Ruby, regarded by some as the most prized drop of all at this location.
